HBio members, ProtATonce and FSF HELLAS participate in "Α New Life Sciences World is Emerging”  event, organised by MIT ENTERPRISE Forum Greece.

Dr.Leonidas Alexopoulos, Assistant Professor, NTUA, Co-founder ProtATonce will participate as a speaker in the MIT Enterprise Forum Greece half-day “Technologies That Matter” event titled“Α New Life Sciences World is Emerging” that will take place on June 21, 2016 in Athens, Greece at the Biomedical Research Foundation Academy of Athens (BRFAA). HBio member, FRONTIER SCIENCE FOUNDATION (FSF) HELLAS will be an event supporter. 

“Technologies That Matter” events focus on emerging technologies and leverage MIT Technology Review content. They are designed to inspire and connect the members of the entire tech community such as entrepreneurs, startup members, academics, students, investors and business executives. MITEF Greece has organized in the past 4 “Technologies That Matter” events focusing on Genomics & BiotechRoboticsBig Data and IoT.

For the first time this event will have a half-day duration and will explore the challenges and opportunities of specific Life Sciences’ sectors, that are expected to have unprecedented impact in our society namely:Biotechnology, Medical Devices, and Digital Health. The event assembles top tier entrepreneurs, technologists, venture capitals, angel investors, CEO’s and alike in order to enable, for the first time, an open interaction between the nascent Greek start up community and members of Greek Tech Diaspora that are active in the Life Sciences.
