EBRD to support Precision Medicine project in Athens

The Biomedical Research Foundation (BRFAA) of the Academy of Athens (associate member of HBio) signed a cooperation agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the support of the former’s new Precision Medicine Infrastructure Project.
This is the first time that EBRD is supporting a Public - Private - Partnership project in Greece. The venture includes the construction, acquisition of equipment and facility management of a new building for the provision of specialised services in the field of personalised medicine. The new facilities will house a state-of-the-art laboratory that meets high-tech specifications, in area totalling 20,000 m².
