Article on value chains and innovation policy

The HBio article "Value Chains and Development policy" (original title "Αλυσίδες αξίας και αναπτυξιακή πολιτική") was published today on the Opinions section of the KERDOS newspaper web site.

This article talks about the relevance of the concept of "value chains" as an organizing principle for the design of R&D policy, discusses some newer concepts such as "networks" and "ecosystems" and suggests that R&D policies should promote and support the pursuit of synergies between markets that traditionally may have been considered distinct.
