Ms Despina Adamidou is a Technology Transfer consultant at PRAXI Network and the National Contact Point for HORIZON 2020 thematic priorities: Food (SC2), Transport (SC4) and Nanotechnologies (LEIT NMBP).

She provides advisory support for European funded research programmes as well as technology transfer and business support services to both SMEs and Academia. She is involved both in the coordination and the technical implementation of National and European projects dealing with research collaborations, exploitation of research results, support to SMEs and promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship. She is involved in preparation of proposals for funding of innovation support services and research and development activities.

She has also research experience in the field of intense ultrashort laser pulse interaction with materials. Prior to joining PRAXI Network, she had worked as a research assistant at the Ultrashort Nonlinear Laser Interactions and Sources Laboratory (UNIS LAB) of the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL), Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH).

Ms. Despina Adamidou holds a degree from University of Crete in Materials Science and Technology and a Master on Business Administration on Total Quality Management (MBA TQM) from the University of Piraeus.
