HBio actively seeks and supports business development opportunities between partners and national and international stakeholders by holding a series of annual events (i.e. technology scouting, innovation matching, cross-clustering activities), by organizing business missions tailored to partner needs and by participating in major events around the globe (i.e. B2B meetings, conferences, forums).

HBio provides technical and advisory services to partners including for the development of commercialization pathways (i.e. joint ventures, spin offs, licensing and research for equity), for digital awareness building and mindset shift. HBio has established career development mentoring and training programmes, as well as mobility programmes between industry and academia in order to add new skillsets to the bioscience workforce.

 

 
Policy making

Policy Making

HBio is an active member of EU bodies advocating for bioscience and innovation such as the Council of European Bioregions, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform and EuropaBio. By this active involvement in decision-making consortia, HBio ensures global best practice gov-ernance and contributes to the creation of a coherent and positive innovation climate for the bio-industry in Europe.
