Mission
Strengthen the Life Sciences ecosystem through targeted business development, capacity-building, and policy-shaping activities and services, supporting the growth of the biotech ecosystem and delivering large-scale, sustainable impact.
Support companies and research organizations by enhancing their export orientation and international business development, while encouraging innovation across the healthcare sector.
Add value to the health innovation ecosystem by developing members’ competencies and promoting increased knowledge transfer among stakeholders.
Organize international missions and exhibition participation, enabling HBio members to conduct business meetings, expand professional networks, promote products and services, and initiate collaborations with key global stakeholders.
Facilitate the translation of scientific and technological knowledge into business ventures, offering services such as support for patents and intellectual property (including copyrights and digital assets) in collaboration with University Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs). Approximately 25% of HBio’s members are universities and research centers; in close collaboration with TTOs, HBio works to ensure the effective exploitation of research outcomes through the creation of successful spin-offs and startups.
