UniHealth consortium gathered in Tunis on the 7th and 8th of January 2025 to showcase the first tangible results of the project and how the project is shaping the future of global pandemic preparedness. Dr. Konstantina Karamanou was present, highlighting during her talk the communication channels already built and explained how they raise awareness on a multi-stakeholder approach.
Prof. ALi Bouattou as organizer of the meeting at the Institut Pasteur de Tunis welcomed the partners and Prof. Electra Gizeli, as coordinator of the project outlined the administrative, financial & legal issues management of the UniHealth project, and highlighted the progress achieved during the first 12 months of the project.
The consortium was informed about the technical part of the project including the development of the 2nd generation Pebble platform, its brand values, the current market analysis and the product analysis-concepts. Moreover, the social impact innovation of the project was presented, along with the perception of the lay public on the access, acceptance and understanding of point-of-care testing based on public survey results, as well as the lay public's prior diagnostic testing experiences during COVID-19 pandemic.
